The Health Digest Vaccines Today: Where do we stand?

In the latest issue of Health Digest magazine, journalists from several African countries provide updates on immunization campaigns and the push to produce vaccines against Ebola, malaria and HIV. Correspondents review the long struggles to tame malaria and HIV, they report on the dissenters who still oppose vaccinations, and they examine the high cost of missed immunization. Health Digest is a publication of the Health Journalists Network in Uganda. HEJNU President Esther Nakkazi says “Our goal in this issue is to contribute to the effort to ensure that every child in the world gets access to life- saving vaccines.”
